Mini-Test format
The format of the Mini-Tests are meant to simulate half of a midterm exam.
- You will have 40 minutes to complete the test.
- There are 2.5 pages of standard response questions that are worth 30 points total (12 pts per page).
- There are 4 multiple choice questions that are worth 3 points each.
The Mini-Tests will be graded out of 40 points. There are 42 points available: points earned beyond 40 will be discarded. Additionaly, a student remediation policy will be in effect for Mini-Tests 1-4; see the course policy page for details.
Attached to Mini-Tests 1 and 2 will be the formula sheet used for Midterm Exam 1. For Mini-Tests 3 and 4 you will be given the formula sheet used for Midterm 2. And finally for Mini-Test 5 the formula sheet for the Final exam will be given. (See below.)
Information concerning Midterm and Final Exams
You will take the uniform midterm and final exams with the rest of the MTH133 sections. For more information about the Exam format, as well as for copies of the Formula Sheet, please see the uniform exam info page.
You can find practice exams posted on the department webpage; they are also great for studying for the Mini-Tests.
